The project's final idea and product came from the very first tutorial session. We had the opportunity to come out with a 'business idea'. After the tutorial session, we thought to ourselves that the idea we came out with during the tutorial was not bad and had potential. We then decided to pursue the idea and develop from there. With that, we developed our persona for our product.
To better help us develop and understand our persona, we crafted a timeline-d story about our persona. The draft was subsequently converted digitally for the virtual exhibition presentation.
After developing our persona in the ideation stage, we converted our ideas and persona on paper to a digital format.
Progressing further in the project, we cleared clarifications such as differences between negative trends and fears, and needs and hopes etc, we made small changes by rearranging some pointers in the correct headings.
Although we already had our main persona of John Lee, we proceeded to create another persona. This idea to create a second persona is part of the group's learning process to further understand our main persona better. Coming up with a second persona enabled the group to think deeper on how our product can better cater to our main persona John Lee's needs.
Although the second persona was not presented in the exhibition, this added move definitely aid us to think through of our product. This part is more on ourselves to help think how our main persona can use our product better.
This video was created using Powtoon to introduce persona during the visual exhibition presentation. This final artefact shows the persona John Lee in the form of a video.
There is a story behind every man.
During the ideation stage, together while coming up with our main persona John Lee, we prepared a timeline-d story. Again, coming up with a story for our persona further enabled us to understand our own product and how our persona can use our product effectively.
We also shared our persona's story during the virtual exhibition presentation.
