Each person should prepare a 10-minute presentation of their final project. The presentation should touch upon all the sections of the final project, with ample focus on the methods and the results. Here are some considerations for the final project presentation.
The final research project presents you with an opportunity to select an issue of your choice that relates to social media and data analytics. You may choose one or more areas such as text analytics and/or network analytics and write a complete research paper. This project will serve as a complete research paper of publishable quality. The purpose of the final project is to apply the knowledge learned throughout the semester to solve a practical problem using social media and data analytics.
Before developing your thesis statement, you should frame research questions that guide your overall research. Your project must be based on a solid idea or a central claim upon which your study will be based. Think about the issues that are you interested in that may be informed through social media data and its analysis. A theory must guide your research.
