The Town of Greenburgh recently installed a 166.22 kW DC solar photovoltaic system consisting of 305 Hyperion 550W solar modules paired with two SMA Solar Technology 62.5 kW inverters. The system is expected to generate approximately 161,797 kWh of clean electricity annually, reducing municipal reliance on utility-supplied power and supporting long-term sustainability objectives. Download the GridRewards app today!
GridRewards is a free demand response program available to all Con Edison customers. Through the easy-to-use app, residents can track household energy use and earn rewards for reducing electricity consumption during peak summer demand periods.
When you participate in GridRewards events, you help reduce reliance on polluting “peaker” power plants that are activated during times of extreme energy demand. In return, participating households receive annual cash rewards, with most households earning between $80 and $100 per year.
