Dear Neighbor,
I am thrilled to officially launch the Town of Greenburgh Climate Smart Task Force!
Our mission is to advance sustainability, resilience, and environmental stewardship across the Town of Greenburgh, which include the hamlets of Hartsdale, Edgemont, Fairview, and Greenville, and towards empowering residents, businesses, and community organizations to take meaningful action.
This is an exciting moment for Greenburgh, we have the opportunity to lead by example, implement innovative solutions, and create a healthier, more sustainable community for all. I invite you to join us on this journey.
By working collaboratively across all parts of our town, we aim to build a more connected, Climate Smart community that reflects the shared commitment of every neighborhood to a healthier, more sustainable future.

The Nature Center at Greenburgh offer volunteer opportunities for a wide range of activities throughout the year, including animal husbandry; recycling and composting; assistance at weekend and community events.

The Town of Greenbugth is building a network of volunteers to help turn ideas into action, whether through community outreach, educational programs, environmental projects, or hands-on events like recycling and composting, repair cafés and clean-up days.
