This month all Graham students have been learning about line. Our Sixth Graders learned how blind contour drawings can develop their muscle memory. They used this technique to draw faces three times. The first face was their own creation, the second one they drew while looking at a continuous line drawing, and for the third, they repeated the procedure for the second. As they became used to drawing the same design through blind contour drawings, their feature placement became more accurate. 🙈
