This month all Graham students have been celebrating Black History Month. Our Fifth Graders learned about Aaron Douglas and Jammie Holmes. They noted elements that both of these artists included to give context to their figures. Students drew people performing an activity, and then created a scene to include in the background. Finally, students glued their silhouettes in the middleground and added large details in the foreground.
