Notan Art

Students will be able to: Balance Positive and Negative Space through Notan Art.

This month all Graham students have been learning about the element of art, Space. Our Third Graders learned about Positive Space and Negative Space. They were able to create their own Notan Art. When doing this study of positive and negative space, students drew a half-shape on each side. They cut, flipped, and glued these pieces to give the illusion of the entire shape. ✂️
