This month all Graham students have been celebrating Black History Month. Our Sixth Graders learned about Lois Mailou Jones, Keith Mallett, and Kehinde Wiley. They learned about the stylized elements of each of these artists' portrait styles. Students chose their favorite of these artists, and used their artistic styles to drive their choices. Students created self-portrait with detailed backgrounds.🖼️
