Before we start, let's review the TEAM AGREEMENT.
Prepare posters for the next activity.
Pass out necklaces
BIG IDEA:
"Today we will use our We Can! Power to plan our Community Project. Our We Can! Power is what happens when our I CAN! Power and teamwork come together! OUr big idea today is Small Acts Make a Difference. What are some small Acts that can make a difference in someone's life?
Think about it:
Why is it important to identify the I CAN! Power in the Community as well as the needs?
What parts of the community do you want to highlight?
ACTIVITY: (30)
You will each get 3 stickers.
After each lap, you will put 1 sticker at the top of the poster with the part of the county you want to help.
You may place the stickers how you want - all 3 stickers on 1 poster, 1 sticker on 3 different posters exact.
After you have placed all your stickers, you may continue to complete laps and talk with your teammates about which part of the community you want to help.
Once the posters have all the stickers from all runners.
Pass out Feet
display the posters and have them do a gallery walk
Provide the teamwork tool (ball) to exchange thoughts and feedback about which project they would like to choose. 2-3 minutes
Narrow the choices down to 2 choices and do a silent vote. Heads down, thumbs up.
"Now that we know we are going to help ________________________________. We will think about what mountains we could help them move or hard things we can help them do! Our Community Impact Project is meant to be a small act. This means we can do it in a SINGLE GOTR practice, at our site, using just a few resources.

Place 5 cones that represent each project idea. have runners run to Coach B then back to the cones and run to which idea they would like to do as the CIP.
