Important Notes:

• These specs are for pre-roll video booked directly with ESPN. If running video as part of a Globe Alliance channel product, refer to the pre-roll specs at the top of the page.

• If providing VAST tags:

  • The VAST response should include two MP4's - one low-resolution, and one high. The higher resolution MP4 should be between 2000-5000 kbps

  • At least one video creative 1,500kbps or less is required to serve to mobile web and app

  • RTMP protocols are not supported and must be removed from the VAST tag

  • VAST response may include multiple MP4 files to support SD & HD formats

  • VPAID is not supported

  • Skippable video ads are not accepted 

• Video must be submitted without leaders such as slates, countdowns, etc.
