The eLearning Environment Presentation provides research-based knowledge for people looking to understand basic needs associated with creating an eLearning platform or course.
Responsibilities: Instructional Design, eLearning Development
Audience: Organizations, Leaders, Stakeholders
Tools Used: Canva, Publisher, Powerpoint, Google Slides
Year: 2019
This project was created in response to a request for information concerning the requirements and needs associated with implementing an eLearning platform.
Here, questioning was needed to determine the specific nature of the request. The client specified a desire to understand the elements and framework associated with a learning management system and eLearning operation. The research was conducted using current industry best practices in eLearning organization and development. Once the research was completed, the data was compiled and organized in order to fulfill the request for the end product.
Initially, the project was designed using Microsoft Powerpoint, along with design elements created in Canva and Microsoft Publisher. Once the slides were constructed and organized into a coherent flow, the project was migrated to Google Slides in order to facilitate universal accessibility.
This project met the needs and expectations of the client by providing research-based best practices in a clear and clean format that is simple but visually appealing. The presentation was delivered on time and exceeded the expectations of the client.
I was able to utilize Smart Art functions in Powerpoint and design small elements using Canva to create this deliverable. Advanced functions of Powerpoint such as animations, transitions, and assessments were not needed for this project, but I look forward to the opportunity to use them in the future.
