Our First Meeting With the New LFP Girls Build LA Members

All interested members were required to fill in a particular Google Form. Here is a sneak peek at the content of this Google Form:

Hi! We’re the Girls Build LA team called HERd of Larchmont Charter School at Lafayette Park! We are officially recruiting members for the 2020 - 2021 school year!

To be able to be a part of this team, you must meet some requirements!

1) You must identify as a female.

2) You will need to have an innovative mindset, as we will be participating in multiple competitions and come across various challenges.

3) We will be meeting very often, so you must have time to prioritize this organization.

4) You need to be genuinely passionate about helping the Los Angeles community as well as our country and planet. Remember, we are a civic engagement-based group!

Why should you join? Being a member of this chapter will allow you to build leadership skills, including being able to communicate with authority and important people, work on time management skills, and have a better understanding of the different issues and injustices in this community and world! Joining this group will also allow you to make a change!

Now, we will be accepting around 15 students, so we recommend you sign up ASAP! Around the beginning of November, we will send out an email confirming whether you got in!
