MISSION STATEMENT

The mission of HERd (formerly known as the Girls Build LA LFP team) has been to provide a safe space for the women of LA. Today, a major concern for the women of LA is how they do NOT feel safe in their own neighborhood. We passionately believe in the power of the ladies to defend themselves, so we plan to provide online self-defense classes and self-defense kits to help cultivate stronger physical, mental, emotional strength in our ladies. HERd will work hard so that one day, the future women of LA will feel safe walking late at night on the streets.
