It's been a crazy 2020 so far and it is great to get away from online teaching and Zoom calls for a while!

The importance of technology has been magnified during online learning, lockdowns and travel restrictions... like it or not, technology has an even bigger role to play in our post-Covid19 world.

If you want to get ahead this summer, this page will give you some ideas and tips...

1. Set up an Apple ID

It's important you do this... so check the email from Matt and use your name.aid@qbs,edu.hk email address to set up an Apple ID for work... if you need more help, review the 'Get Set' page of this website.

2. Become an Apple Teacher

You've got a Mac... so get on and learn more about how it works. Earn badges to become an 'official' Apple Teacher.

Becoming an Apple Teacher isn't difficult - and it won't take long! Learn more about the Mac itself and the included software - Pages, Keynote, Numbers, iMovie and Garageband.

3. Join the ISTE Summer Learning Academy

From July 13-31st join the International Society for Technology in Education's (ISTE) Summer Learning Academy. Spend 1-2 hours a day gaining practical skills for teaching in an online environment – with fun Friday giveaways! Attend the one-hour interactive webinars live or watch a recording on your own time. Registration is US$20.
