There are those who’d say that if you’ve seen one sports car, you’ve seen them all. But these people obviously aren’t car enthusiasts. Every company that produces sports cars often makes it a point to add distinguishing features that make their product unique. Given that the sports car market is competitive, manufacturers see to it that these features stand out. Car enthusiast Gene Bernshtam believes that the best example to show the difference between sports car brands is by comparing a Lamborghini and a Ferrari.
Of the two, Lamborghini produces a lot more road cars. By road cars, we mean street legal cars. Some Ferrari models have specs that lean more into motor sports and are considered too dangerous to be driven in public roads. It’s not a good idea to have motor sports cars with insane speeds just roaming around downtown. Perhaps this is because Ferrari traces its roots to motor sports.
Ferrari has released a lot of models compared to Lamborghini. While the company was established earlier, Ferrari produces a wider variety of models to fit different consumers. The models may look similar, but their performance speaks volumes.
On the other hand, Lamborghini doesn’t produce as much, but its units are often priced high. Gene Bernshtam states that the company also focuses more on the form of the car with each release, making it distinct even from previously released versions of the same model.
Gene Bernshtam graduated from Loyola Business School with a degree in finance. He received Series 7 and 63 licenses that allowed him to work for an investment banking firm right after college. He then started an auto business and a real estate company. For more reads on automobiles and sports cars, visit this blog.
