Must demonstrate at school, at the workplace, and within the community the attributes of leadership, drive, integrity, and citizenship.

John F. Kennedy Profile in Courage Essay Contest

Washington Crossing Foundation Scholarship

Eligibility:
Competition open to all high school seniors who are U.S. citizens and are planning careers of service to the United States in local, state, or federal government.
Applicant must attach a one-page essay stating why he or she plans a career in government service including any inspiration to be derived from the leadership of George Washington in his famous crossing of the Delaware.
Must also include a recommendation from high school principal or guidance counselor, along with transcripts, national testing scores, resume and other supporting information.
Bruce Kenner Memorial Scholarship

You must be a senior who is enrolled in a high school band whose director is a current Active Member of ATSSB.
You must be planning to pursue a bachelor's degree in music and a teaching certificate with the intention of becoming a band director in a public or private school.
Girls Impact the World Film Festival

Eligibility:
Open to high school and undergraduate students.
Entries must submit a 3-6 minute short film that raises awareness about critical issues affecting women and girls around the world or propose solutions to critical challenges faced by women (issues can be found on website)

Must write a minimum of 1500 words in reference to the prompt. Focus will be on grammar and ability to present ideas clearly. **Prompt can be found online.

Must enroll full-time at a 4-year school in Fall of 2022, and maintain a GPA of 3.5.

Guadalupe-Blanco River Authority Scholarship

Seniors residing in GBRA’s 10-county service area (Kendall, Comal, Hays, Caldwell, Guadalupe, Gonzales, DeWitt, Victoria, Calhoun and Refugio) are eligible to apply.

Applications will be reviewed and awarded by a selection committee chosen by GBRA.
In the event the scholarship recipient receives financial assistance from other sources that would constitute a full scholarship, the recipient shall notify the GBRA Scholarship Coordinator and relinquish rights to the scholarship. The funding shall then be awarded to the runner-up, if that applicant continues to meet all criteria.

Eligibility:
For current high school seniors, high school graduates, or current undergraduate students of any age who have MS or a parent with MS and will be attending, or are already currently attending, an accredited postsecondary school working toward their first undergraduate degree.
U.S. citizens or legal residents
Must plan to enroll in an undergraduate course of study at an accredited two- or four-year college, university, or vocational-technical school located in the U.S., Puerto Rico, U.S. Virgin Islands, Guam or any other U.S. territory for the 2016-17 academic year.
