If you have met a problem on Garendon Park here are the routes to take:
Persimmon Homes are the lead developer and own the site. If it's something they should address contact them directly:
https://www.persimmonhomes.com/contact-us
If it's on the Registered heritage Park contact stephen.payne@persimmonhomes.com
This includes
Public Rights of Way If your concern is with the maintenance of one if the three in the area
K70: Pear Tree Lane;
K68: Back Ln/Butthole Ln; and
K105: through Baileys Plantation
you can report the issue directly to Rights of Way at County Hall.
All other issues
There are several local councillor who should know the area who to contact for other issues. (But don't write to them all at once because they will assume its not for them personally).
Councillors are especially useful if you feel a problem has been reported but not addressed.
Local Councillors:
cllr.roy.campsall@charnwood.gov.uk
cllr.kanchan.jadeja@charnwood.gov.uk
cllr.sarah.monk@charnwood.gov.uk
County Councillors if its a highways or schools issue particularly:
andrew.hamilton-gray@leics.gov.uk represents the area of the Registered Heritage Park
peter.morris@leics.gov.uk represents the area of housing development
If it concerns the access via the Coach Road, this is probably best dealt with through the Shepshed Town Council
Finally, if you are not a member of Friends of Garendon Park, please join. Our task is to publicise and enjoy the history, wildlife and public access available and ensure the planning conditions are met by the developers and enforced properly by the borough council. You can find more details in this website. Thanks.
