It’s nearly 22 years since Gardening Naturally last aired on regional radio 4ZR (Roma).

Back then, it was a 30-minute radio program and organic gardening was still “pretty new”. But we explored all manner of ways to garden in our unique environment with few (if any) chemical inputs.

And so it begins again, this time using Facebook Live - a great tool that offers visual and audio capability, as well as viewer interaction. And, although we’ll be doing it live, viewers can interact with the Stream whenever it’s convenient.

And of course, instead of talking about the climate of growing plants in Roma, it’ll be in the Livingstone Shire. Central Qld can be as harsh as anywhere, so we’ll explore ways to make your gardening more successful and productive. We’ll focus on sustainability and growing your own food at home. That might be a pot or a large plot.
