Just tried Supernova for the first time! Oh my God, so freaking good. Typhoon is still my favorite, but this is my new 2nd favorite! #fb
After the posts above, Supernova remained my runner-up favorite for the next 12 years. (It was eventually unseated by Baja Caribbean Splash.) In my opinion, it is not only one of the most delicious Mountain Dew flavors, but also one of the most unique.
I have a lot of sentimental attachment to this flavor as well. Supernova is my dad's favorite Dew, so this is something that he and I have bonded over. I have many fond memories of going on motorcycle rides with him, and then stopping for a bottle of Supernova whenever we needed a break and some refreshment.
My love for Supernova runs so deep that I have literally dreamt about it. I don't have the words to express how much I miss this flavor, and how much it would mean to both me and my dad to be able to drink it again.

Went on a Typhoon quest with Dad. No Typhoon, but I did score 12 cans of Supernova, so I'd call that a partial victory. #fb
