The Basics

Hi there! My name is Froggy. I'm 34 years old, my pronouns are they/them, and I reside on the beautiful California Central Coast.

I share a home with my datemate, Curtis, and our dog, Buddy. You might see me mention the two of them in other places on this website.

I have a Bachelor's Degree in journalism, but unfortunately it has been mostly decorative so far.

How It All Began

Whenever I was given soda as a child, it seemed like it was always cola. Sure, I enjoy both Pepsi Cola and Coca-Cola, but when those are the only options, one does get a bit tired of them.

I fell in love with Surge when I was in first grade, but when that drink got discontinued, I was pretty much back at square one. I tried clear sodas such as Sprite, 7-Up, and Sierra Mist, and though I did like them, they still weren't quite what I was looking for.

I don't remember how old I was when I tried Mountain Dew for the first time, but I believe it was somewhere around preteen age. Though I didn't quite know it yet at the moment, I had just had a life-changing experience. Surge may have been my first love, but Mountain Dew was the one I wanted to spend the rest of my life with.

Decades later, things have not changed. I'm not sure if it's because of the variety of flavors available or if it just happens to hit my taste buds in all the right spots, but I have definitely found the soda that I will never get bored of.
