scouting

Members of our scouting team cover a wide variety of interests, all of which are vital for our team's competition success.

The department is overseen by a student leader, the Scouting Director, and has one student Officer that runs their individual sub team; Morale.

General mechanical responsibilities include: reading the game manual & determining an appropriate game strategy, setting priorities for our robot, gathering data at our events to use when selecting alliances, and cheering for our teams & others at events.

Scouting:

Are you interested in strategy and statistics? You can help our team by figuring out what elements of the game our robot should be able to perform. Once at the event, it is helpful to have a team of students watching the competitions and gathering data so that we know which teams we pair well with and which we do not, enabling us to have the most competitive team possible.

Morale:

Are you ready to make some noise?? Everyone can help by cheering for our team and others while at an event. It is always great to hear our fans in the stands. You can help us design chants & cheers or make our cheering equipment.
