Business

Members of our business team cover a wide variety of interests, all of which are vital for our team's success.

The department is overseen by a student leader, the Business Director, and has four student Officers that run their individual sub teams; Awards, Finance, Marketing, & Outreach.

General business responsibilities include: writing award submissions, keeping detailed documentation of our season, fundraising & grant writing, keeping a detailed budget, designing our promotional materials, establishing a team brand, marketing our team on social media, public speaking, and planning outreach activities.

Awards:

If you are interested in writing or verbally presenting to a panel of judges, join our sub-team! You can assist us with developing all of our documentation and sharing with judges and the community what we do.

Finance:

Do you like numbers, budgets, or fundraising - this is the sub-team for you! You can assist with writing grants, making connections with sponsors, and set up community fundraisers for our team.

Design:

Whether you know how to use design software or not, there is room for you in our sub-team! You can assist in designing our teams shirts, flyers, buttons, and much more. Having a set brand is key to being a good team!

Marketing/Outreach:

Like taking pictures or making an impact with people in our community? This is the sub-team for you! You can help to set up outreach events in our community (in person and virtually) and make sure we document our efforts and share it with our supporters on social media and in our documentation!
