Finally able to come back in person, Botcats made a huge impact this season. Membership increased to a new high of 74 students, with 1/3rd of them being female or nonbinary! From new hands-on trainings and weekly workshop days, to continued outreach in our community to spread a love for STEM, we did it all.

As our competition season rolled around, we designed and manufactured two robots, one as a first prototype and a second that was for competition. In March, we headed to Orlando to compete against 55 other teams, placing 30th overall, being selected for the 6th seed alliance, and making it into the quarterfinals. Just a month later, we headed to Huntsville, AL to compete again. This time we ranked 10 out of 49 teams and were captains of the 6th seed alliance, again making it to the quarterfinals.
