The Communication and Collaboration domain includes the ability to use professional communication and technology skills to engage in partnerships. Three skill sets are aligned with assessing this domain: reading, writing, listening, and speaking, appropriate to a given context; and using technology globally, share/present, adapt to specific contexts and needs.

EDU 402: Partnering for ED Initiatives
In this class, we had zoom discussions with our group on our partnership findings. We would relate those findings to educational settings and give constructive feedback to each other throughout while creating a worksheet with our findings. The community partnership research product was our final project. Here, we had to work with partnerships we found and interview them. We utilized different technological tools in order to present and share this project with our professor and peers. We had to research and design the specific partnership of choice. We shared these thoughts with our peers via yellowdig and zoom discussions. My final project thoroughly showed my understanding of the communication and collaboration domain, and how I communicated with my audience. With the final presentation, we had to record ourselves presenting our research findings. We also had to show the different areas in which we researched the partnership along with cited references.
Learning about this domain has been incredibly informative and in my future career as an educator, I plan on looking back and acknowledging my learning and skills acquired from this domain, such as communicating with others on a professional level, creating and forming partnership(s), as well as adapting to my environment, whether that be from zoom calls, utilizing discussion boards, or in-person meetings, I plan on looking at the bigger picture at all times in my future career!
