low valtage wires are part of the LVS (low voltage system)

General Requirements

• All wires must be protected from being touched

• The maximum permitted voltage is 60VDC or 50VACRMS.

• The LVS must not use orange wiring or conduit

• The LVS must be grounded to the chassis.

• HV and LV wires must not run through the same conduit or connector, except for interlock circuit connections.

• Components and cables capable of movement must be positively restrained to maintain spacing.

• We should be able to clearly know wire gauge, temp rating, and isolation voltage for each wire
