Definitions/Meaning
Accumulator Isolation Relay
General Requirements
At least two AIRs must be used
Once AIR is opened no TS may be present outside of the TSAC
The vehicle side of the AIRs must be galvanically isolated from the accumulator side (preventing direct conduction paths)
The AIRs must be mechanical relays that are normally open(circuit is always open , when current is supplied the circuit closes ) (solid state relays are not allowed )
The rating of the fuse protecting the accumulator TS must be lower than the AIRs maximum switch off current (if there is a current spike the fuse must burn opining the circuit before the AIRs switch off )

Unit price is approximately ₪944.08
Its very similar to the relay we used last year it just has higher current rating and wider range for coil voltage which is not big deal because the one we have already fits the requirements we have, the mane difference is the price and robustness and the operate time which is only 10ms basically the bigger faster and stronger brother to the IHV250
* its also shorter by almost 20 mm
We also have another EV200HAANA option from kilovac priced at approximately 260₪ with almost the same attributes as the one University of Navarra's used
