Eurocopter EC130

The Eurocopter EC130 (now Airbus Helicopters H130) is a single engine light utility helicopter developed from the earlier Eurocopter AS350 Écureuil, one of the primary changes from which was the adoption of a Fenestron anti-torque device in place of a conventional tail rotor. It was launched and produced by the Eurocopter Group, which would later be rebranded as Airbus Helicopters.

Further  FDM refinement

Bug fix -  The HDR panel lighting may have caused  some visual weirdness on  FG versions that do not have HDR.

Bug fix - Changes made for  multiplayer so the  Helicopter should not  just appear as a flying cockpit over Multiplayer.

This version completely seprates the FGUK versions from the Standard versions. Previously, you may or may not actually get the FGUK version  loading up. Now you will if you choose the FGUK version.

If you install this one, or the original  EC130 in separate custom aircraft directories, they should co exist  quite happily.

 Removed the need for a number of manual starts  before the Auto start fuction  is enabled.

P.S.  Don't forget to put fuel in it   for the first time.

FDM refinement.

Autopilot V3 fitted ( see in sim help before use ).

New 3d models for the seating.

Updated electrical systems and avionics .

External lighting  changed to match our latest standards including  compositor and HDR  compliant lights.

Introduction of basic HDR compatibility. 

FGUK V1.1

Further FDM updates. The main rotor dynamics are now exactly the same as  the AS350 with slight trim differences due to the  different size and weight of the  Airframe ( it flies nicer than the AS350 in my opinion ).

Instrument upgrades and improvements.

Cabin now has the basics of the  interior trim shape on the cabin roof.

Main panel  is now done in carbon fibre. This will be the tell tail sign  you are in the FGUK version and not the standard  FG version.

Internal sound changes. Sounds now match the AS350 as they do in the real one. This includes new blade slap and wind FX.

Changes to the Fuselage FX should mean you no longer look   just black over Multiplayer.

FGUK V1.0

The FDM has been re tuned to better represent the flight behaviour of the  EC130. It is more like the AS350 now.

The Garmin now has function.

Added Rain on Glass effects.

Added Rotorwash on grass effects.

Some sounds have been altered.

Multiplayer sound added.

Canvas  VMED.

Fixed a bug in the Startup procceedure.

Fixed an MP bug that would kill any other EC130 over Multiplayer when you spwaned in.

Flight Character.

In basic trim it is tail heavy. Take off requires Right pedal and Cyclic towards the 1 o'clock position. 

Normal cruise  110-115kts.

Fast cruise  up to 125 kts.

VNE  around 150kts but you have to push the airframe quite hard to get to that.
