The Avro Vulcan (later Hawker Siddeley Vulcan from July 1963) is a jet-powered, tailless, delta-wing, high-altitude, strategic bomber, which was operated by the Royal Air Force (RAF) from 1956 until 1984. Aircraft manufacturer A.V. Roe and Company (Avro) designed the Vulcan in response to Specification B.35/46. Of the three V bombers produced, the Vulcan was considered the most technically advanced, hence the riskiest option. Several reduced-scale aircraft, designated Avro 707s, were produced to test and refine the delta-wing design principles.
This version for FlightGear is designed to be one of FGUK's "Halo" releases and will receive updates and improvements throughout the life of the project. It's our aim to create an enjoyable and relatively realistic representation of the Vulcan B2 for FlightGear. To this first Beta release (Oct 2024) there has been over 3 years of hard work by dedicated people to get it to this state and we really hope that you find enjoyment in it as much as we do.
Please see the bottom of this page for licensing information.
The cockpit is a work in progress and will increase in functionality as time goes on but for now enjoy the fantastic visuals, textures and even the custom autopilot as designed by Eagle
This is a BETA release and as such we ask you to give feedback on our forum at https://forum.fguk.me/discussions

LICENSE -
Due to the desire to create an ongoing and regularly improved Vulcan B2 we are licensing this particular release as CC BY-NC-ND 4.0
This doesn't limit anyone's ability to contribute to the project. We are just asking that we be allowed to control the release cycles to avoid the community being flooded with different variants and thus diluting the hard work that has gone in so far.
Approval for the existing works by him to be converted to CC BY-NC-ND 4.0 granted by Stuart Buchannan on 30/10/2024
