The FF 2.0 Essentials is a fun, interactive and high-energy module designed to discover key issues, understand key players, and effective solutions to address issues  in small scale fisheries. It is designed as a group learning activity where participants undergo a series of challenges and perform tasks to complete a journey. 

The goal of FF Essentials is to engage with learners through direct experience and focused reflection to increase knowledge, develop skills, clarify values and develop capacity to advocate for and implement an integrated coastal fisheries strategy that contribute to the achievement of Fish Forever goals.

At the end of the FF Essentials,  learners will be able explain how creating network of reserves managed by network of people working together and addressing overfishing and able to pitch the  8 critical Fish Forever elements of sustainable coastal fisheries.

The FF Essentials is primarily for Rare staff and Fish Forever partners which may include, but not exclusive to co-delivery partners, campaign implementation teams and key decision makers.  As an orientation tool, this can be used for individuals and groups with interest to understand how effective coastal fisheries management works.

The FF Essentials is ideally played with at least 2 teams with a minimum of 10 people each.
