My value as an educator is to help prepare students beyond their K-12 schooling experience. Creating a safe and healthy environment for students is key to my teaching beliefs. However, as I want learning to be a joyful experience I also want my students to express and grow the fundamental critical thinking skills to grow relationships with one another. Overall, as teachers, we are helping our students learn and value the contribution that others bring around them. Our students are the future and our goal for them is to engage critically with ideas.
