Killers VoiceCommand 2.0

Killers VoicCommand 2.0 is a software that working along with Windows Speech Recognition will allow you to issue voice commands in Falcon BMS to perform cockpit functions or communicate with AWACS, Tower, Wingman, Element or Tanker.

You can create a template where different voice commands will be bind to a key stroke in Falcon BMS key mapping

Steps:

Set up Windows Speech Recognition
Download and install Killers VoiceCommand 2.0
Create a new template in Killers VoiceCommand 2.0
Add voice commands in the new template
Play the game

1. Set up Windows Speech Recognition

Control Panel -> Ease of Access -> Speech Recognition -> Set up microphone (follow the instructions to set up your microphone)

2. Download and install Killers VoiceCommand 2.0

Unzip the folder. You'll see two files: 'setup' application file and 'Setup' windows installer file.
Double click in 'setup.exe' application file to install .NET framework
Double click in 'Setup.msi' windows installer to install Killers VoiceCommand 2.0

3. Create a new template in Killers VoiceCommand 2.0

Launch Killers VoiceCommand 2.0

The first time you launch the program, you'll see the default World of Warcraft template loaded. There is no template for Falcon BMS, so we have to create a new one. Click on 'Load Template...' button:

In the Templates Manager window that appears, click on 'Add Template...' button:

The 'Add Template' dialog opens. Type the name of the template you want to create under 'Template name' text box.
Now you have to create a new template file or load an existing one. You can load the template file I created myself. You can download it from here*. Once downloaded, click on 'Browse' button and select the template file falconbms.ksf you downloaded.
If you prefer to create a new template file, click on 'New' button and name your file
Click on 'OK' button

*Note that I've created voice commands exactly as appear in Falcon BMS. For instance, saying 'request picture' will trigger the key strokes: 'q' + '1' in Falcon BMS, which is the 'AWACS COMMAND -AWACS Page' command '1 Request Picture'. The only two exceptions to this rule are:

'Activate Radar' command (key strokes 'w' + 'w' + 'w' + '4') which is triggered by saying: 'Active Radar' because the word 'Activate' is reserved for internal use in Killer VoiceCommand program
'Install/Remove Chocks' (key strokes 't' + '8') which is triggered by saying 'chocks'

4. Add voice commands in the new template

Once the Falcon BMS template is loaded, you can create voice commands by clicking on 'Add Voice Command (Ins)...' button:

Type in the Voice Command that will be interpreted by Windows Speech Recognition and processed by Killer VoiceCommand software
Select a category from the drop down menu or create a new 'Category' by typing in the new category name directly
In the 'Text' text box, type in the key strokes needed to active the command in Falcon BMS and click on 'Add' button
Click on 'Apply' button
If you want to create a new voice command, click on 'New' button

In the screenshot on the left, we create the voice command 'return to base' under the category 'WINGMAN COMMANDS - Mission Management' and this will trigger the key strokes 'w' + 'w' + 'w' + '2' in Falcon BMS:

Voice Command: return to base (note that you can use 'shut up and take my money' instead of 'return to base')

The templates that you created will be saved in:

C:\Users\{User}\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\Killers Software\Killers VoiceCommand 2.0\Templates

Note that when launching Killer VoiceCommand, Windows Speech Recognition will be launched automatically also. Keep Windows Speech Recognition open, but in 'Off' state.

5. Play the game

Launch Killer VoiceCommand 2.0. Note that when launching Killer VoiceCommand, Windows Speech Recognition will be launched automatically also. It's important to keep Windows Speech Recognition open, but in 'Off' state:

Launch Falcon BMS. Start a flight and now you can issue voice commands.

REMEMBER: Killer Voice Command can be used to bind any key stroke of Falcon BMS to your voice command, so you can also 'talk' to your aircraft in order to Gear up/down or swap MFDs for instance. That won't be realistic though.
