Band Boosters Board

The FMK program cannot be successful without parental involvement and help. We call ourselves FBBO, the Fairview Band Boosters Organization. FBBO meetings are held as needed on the second Wednesday of the month at 7:30 p.m. The following parent volunteers are on the Band Booster Board: 

Executive Team: The Executive team consists of the President, Treasurer and Financial Secretary. Together, they ensure that the support organization is running smoothly for all the Fairview band programs.

President:  Coordinates FBBO activities, presides at meetings, and works closely with the Band Director and the band student council president.  The President is also responsible for internal communications between the FBBO as a group and providing timely information to band families in the weekly High Notes email.

Kristin DeLorenzo

Treasurer: Oversees all of the financially-related roles, namely Ways and Means and Financial Secretary. Pays bills, disburses funds and administers the general FBBO checking accounts. The Treasurer communicates with accountants for completion of tax returns and sales tax reports and coordinates compilation of yearly FBBO Budget.

Laura Farrelly 

Financial Secretary:  Collects and deposits student band activity fund accounts, fundraising proceeds, donations, grants, etc; monitors student activity fund account balances; prepares invoices and student account statements; sends out verification reports for donations, grants and sponsors as needed; reports to Treasurer.

Teal Harada

Ways and Means Chairman: Generates, coordinates, organizes and directs Ways and Means committee activities for fundraising to support the general organization budget and to contribute to individual student band activity fund accounts, and evaluates fundraiser success.

Jill Oliver

Recording Secretary: Attends FBBO board of directors meetings then records, files, and reports the minutes for board meetings.

Erin Pilger

Chaperones Coordinator:  Organizes bus transportation and chaperones for off-site events. Ride on the buses with the bands to marching, concert, and jazz bands performances; provide water, snacks, uniform assistance, and moral support.

Emily Almaer

Uniform Coordinators:  Organizes the uniforms, fits members in uniforms, assists with distribution on the day of the event. and All things uniform for all Fairview bands and ensures that all band members are properly attired and looking sharp for all their performances.
