The FMK scored a 3rd-place rank of 81.90 at the Northern Regionals on Monday, October 13th. Come support them on Saturday, October 25th as they head to STATE at the USAFA!!!

Marching Band
Marching Band
Fairview's marching program is supported by a host of professional marching band instructors as well as parent volunteers. The Fairview Marching Band finished 4th in 2021, 8th in 2022, 9th in 2023, and 6th in 2024. In addition, we received the award for Best General Effect at the 2011 state competition and the most improved band award at the 2009 Metro Regional Competition.
Practices
Practices
FMK begins their season with two weeks of Band Camp, beginning the first Wednesday of August, and ending the day before school starts (Mondays-Fridays) from 8:45am - 4:00pm. They continue to rehearse every Monday and Wednesday evening throughout the season from 5:00-9:00pm. Beginning in September, Saturday practices will become more regular. There is no practice Labor Day Weekend.
Competitions and Trips
Competitions and Trips
FMK usually competes in 5 competitions during the Fall and performs at selected home football games. The CBA State Competitions takes place end of October - early November. FMK also marches in the Lights of December Parade in Boulder every year. The marching band traveled to Disney World and Universal Studios in 2022 where they marched in the New Year's Magic Kingdom Parade, as well as participated in other clinics.
