Concert Band

The Fairview concert band program has become one of the elite concert programs in the state of Colorado and is made up primarily of two groups: the Symphonic Band, and the more advanced Wind Ensemble.

Everyone is welcome in the Symphonic Band regardless of experience or skill. Students in the Symphonic Band may audition for our most elite group, called the Wind Ensemble. 

The concert bands perform at a number of school events, as well as participating in concert band competitions.

Fairview’s top concert band is a perennial qualifier for the Colorado Bandmaster’s Association State Concert band festival, which is open to the top concert bands from the CBA Regional Contests. The Wind Ensemble has been invited to this festival every year for the last 15 years.
