How can I get my Maternity Benefit?
It will be credited to your payroll at least 2 weeks before the Expected Delivery Date noted on your Maternity Notification Form.
For Miscarriage, your benefit will be credited to your account once approved by SSS. Complete documents should be forwarded (Mat 1, Mat 2 and other attachments) to process and get the approval.
What if may Expected delivery date changed?
Please notify ES immediately and submit a medical document stating your updated Expected Delivery Date so the team can adjust the release of your benefit.
What happens if I don't submit my Maternity notification form immediately?
There is a chance that your Maternity Benefit will be credited later than your Expected Delivery Date as the team will need more time to compute and process your Maternity benefit prior to crediting to your account.
With this, we recommend that you submit all the necessary requirements before birth. Please refer to Maternity benefit page for the complete requirements.
Can I report for work even before my Maternity Leave ends?
We do not recommend this since you will no longer be paid on top of the 105 days benefit that you have already received. Same goes with miscarriage, since you will be paid 60 days, you will no longer be compensated on top of the benefit that you have already received.
What if I resigned without forwarding the Mat 2 requirements?
Please ensure to forward Mat 2 requirements prior resignation so the Company can process the reimbursement from SSS. Not doing so may result to deduction of your Maternity Benefit from your Final Pay.
Since I was out of office during my Maternity Leave, can I pay my contributions and Loan directly to government offices?
No need as the team will automatically deduct 3.5 months worth of contributions and loan payments from your Maternity benefit.
