Once we have selected "Part Request/Availability" we will move right into collecting information about the particular part(s).
Brand
Part/Model Number
Series
It is important to notice the button's on the right -hand side. If the caller does not know the brand information, we will select, "Brand Unknown." We will do the same for "Part/Model Number," and "Series."
Condition Preferred - New v.s. Used parts
How Many - How many parts are being requested?
Is this urgent? - Yes/ No
The “SKU” is made up of the information we collected above and we can search with it, or the type of product.
For Example SKU #: RA-1762-IF4-UPP-B
RA= Brand
1762-IF4= Part Number
UPP= Condition
B= Series
Once we have collected all of the part and product information, we will select 'launch web.'
Below, we have a video walkthrough of the process of locating an item and a quick view of what we'll be looking for when we find the product.
For any questions that are not about specific parts, and availability of those parts, we want to always start with the FAQ document.
We can do this by selecting the 'Launch FAQ' button in the script, seen below.
We want to use the 'CTRL + F' option, once the document has populated.
For Office/ All other call's we will gather the caller's name, number, company name, and email.
We will take a message for the office to follow up within 24 hours.
