Computerized Interferential Therapy

Computerized interferential therapy is neuromuscular stimulating current which is produced by the intersection of two or more unmodulated, out of phase, medium frequency, alternating current of low voltage, with resultant treatment current consisting of a polyphasic waveform pattern. The advantages include deep penetration, no heat produced, no irritation of pain, can be used over metallic implants, and capable of muscle stimulation.
