Evolved Arctic

Those who believe the Evolved Desert is the most dangerous place have never seen the Evolved Arctic. A thick blanket of snow covers the entire biome, making agriculture impossible. Trees and water are also sparse. Additionally, it is quite safe during the day. Large packs of polar bears roam, but if they don't have their babies with them, you are safe. Turkeys also mysteriously find homes here. However, when the sun sets, you would wish you were in the Evolved Desert.

When night comes, flocks of vex will blot out the stars and the moon. Cave Spiders emerge from the ground for prey. Creepers, Endermen, Evokers, and Illusion Illagers, all try and find victims. Skeletons and Stray fight together. A strange illager known as the Spellcaster looks to assert his dominance. Witches and Vindicators will hunt you down. On top of all these murderous mobs, you have to deal with the Frost Zombie and the rare Beast.

The Frost Zombie was once a normal undead human. Yet, it found its way into the Evolved Arctic. It became stronger, faster, and more evil. Its skin became blue, its eyes white. Now, it wants to find its next meal. Either you will be it, or you will slay the mighty monster and takes its flesh, which is tougher and more useful than regular rotten flesh.

The Beast is considered a boss mob, though it is more of a mini-boss. Having less health than the Ender Dragon and Wither, it is not as extreme. Though, it's nothing to scoff at. Dozens of mobs will be in its proximity if you decide to fight it. However, if you succeed in killing it, you can collect shards of its gemstones. These Pulsating Shards can be crafted back into its gemstone to give Strength & Regeneration 2 to the player.

Krampus can also be found roaming. He is a powerful and fast beast, but overcoming him can be rewarding.

There is one more interesting thing about the Evolved Arctic: the Ice Temple. It is a large structure filled with mystery, mobs, and loot. No one is quite sure where it came from or who made it. Can you tackle the monsters in its halls to claim the loot?
