Here are some blocks that don't fit into any of the other categories.

Scaffolding - 1 Dirt = 16 Scaffolding. It breaks instantly. Good for, well, scaffolding!

Reinforced Sand - Craftable sand, one of the two ways to get silicon

Evolved Sand & Sandstone - Stronger than their normal counterparts, have the same uses except Sand doesn't fall, can only be found in Dwarven Shrines in the Evolved Desert

Salt Block - Made out of salt, can be used to troll friends - "U salty?" Tom in Mianite, probably
