Lucid, Will, Gloom, Verus Hilla, Black Mage, Seren, Kalos, Kaling,
This section only provides tips revolving around Evan's kit. This section will not explain how to conduct the entire boss fight.
ALWAYS MAKE SURE IT IS SAFE TO CHARGE AND LIBERATE ELEMENTAL RADIANCE.
Elemental Radiance will disappear immediately if the caster dies.
You can tank the any attack with Ethereal Form.
There are no special tips for defeating Zakum; beat it up and dodge its attacks with teleport.
You can tank the any attack, or map hazard, with Ethereal Form, but you will still be stunned by the noxious gas hazard.
Wind Flash and Earth Breaths are good fusions to catch Magnus while he is in the air.
Fusions can still be casted while Evan is ducking; useful for dodging Magnus's knockback spin while maintaining damage.
If bursting is difficult due to map obstacles, then do the following (as fast as you can):
Put down Elemental Radiance -> Erda Nova (bind) -> liberate Radiance -> hold Dragon Master to remain invincible from map hazards while staying inside Magnus's range
Papulatus:
can eform the two lasers crossing
there is a safe spot when time distortions are on the ground and the two lasers have spawned
claws are no longer a significant threat, but avoid jumping too often or you may get caught
the number above Papulatus and your character should be as close as possible. Use divison or multiplication numbers dropped by the spawned adds to adjust your number. If either Papulatus's number or your number expires but the other number remains, then you are skill-locked for the remainder of the second number. The skill-lock cannot be dispelled once inflicted, however, if you use Hero's Will before the first number disappears, then the skill-lock will not be applied. (gif)
when papulatus is in rest mode, a clock appears in the background with percentages in each of its panels and a timer. If the timer reaches 0 and any clock panels are still active, Papulatus will heal the total of the remaining clock panels. use the timers dropped by spawned adds to move the clock's hour hand onto different panels, then use the UP key on the portal to dispose of the panel.
Rule of thumb: the 2-hour moves the hand ONE PANEL FORWARD, the 4-hour moves the hand TWO PANELS FORWARD, the 9-hour moves the hand ONE/TWO PANELS "BACKWARDS".
Papulatus's Panick mode deals damage over time, but it is not life-threatening. The clock parts that fall can stun you, but do not do significant damage.
When Papulatus has dismounted, it may teleport you forcefully. This can be dangerous when lasers are about to cross.
Magnus:
while a player outside of Magnus's blue barrier, player damage is heavily penalized and the efficiency of potions are penalized (png)
the barrier will reduce in size as magnus's hp drops (png)
however, if a fusion is attacking Magnus from outside the barrier, but the player is inside the barrier, then the fusion's damage is not penalized
green meteors do small damage, blue meteors do large damage, and purple meteors do 100% damage. can be eformed. (png)
green gas immobilizes player completely for 10 seconds. Eform will not prevent immobilization. (png
green portals are delayed attacks but will inflict 100% hp damage if the player is hit while under it. (png)
Magnus spin makes him untargetable and will knockback players who are in range. Teleporting away then back towards Magnus can be a safe way to dodge this. (png)
When Magnus is in the air, wings folded, he will deal 100% hp damage to the areas to the bottom left and bottom right side of him. Standing directly under Magnus is safe (but still prone to other map hazards). Earth Breath and Wind Flash can reach Magnus while he is doing this attack. (png)
When Magnus is in the air, holding his sword, he will deal 100% hp damage to the area directly under him (and very slightly to the left and right side). (png)
Chaos Pierre:
Once Pierre is approximately 70% HP, he will transform and assign the player a Red or Blue hat (cannot be dispelled).
When Pierre is Red, his special attack allows him to teleport to a player's location and deal a lot of damage. This can be avoided by simply moving away from the spot that he is targeting.
When Pierre is Blue, his special attack turns him into a spinning hitbox that moves slowly towards the targeted player. Touching his hitbox will briefly skill lock.
When the player has the same color hat as Pierre, the player's (and Mir's) attacks will heal Pierre.
Be careful when using floor fire, Spiral of Mana, and Onyx Dragon; they can heal Pierre too
When the player has the opposite color hat as Pierre, the player's attacks will deal extra damage
Around 40% HP, Pierre will split into two bosses, Red and Blue. The hat logic still applies.
Ideally, you are looking to get Pierre to just above 40% and have the opposite color hat as his transformation for extra damage. Then, bind Pierre and burst to clear. If your burst does not defeat Pierre before he splits into two bosses, then you will need to toss a life to remove your hat, then respawn and finish him.
Chaos Crimson Queen:
Turn on Magic Guard. It will mitigate a lot of the stacking burn damage.
Getting hit by the Breath attack will remove all stacks of burn damage.
Mir Skills, Dragon Fusions and Spiral of Mana will not harm you if Damage Reflect is casted.
Chaos Von Bon:
Play close to Von Bon and teleport behind him when he is able to cast a skill that would target in front of him.
Chaos Vellum:
When Vellum is attacking, he is stationary; therefore, it would be best to start Elemental Radiance from a safe location when he starts attacking. Then before he digs into the ground again, use Erda Nova to bind him for the remainder of Radiance.
Princess No:
Spiral of Mana will not trigger the Pink Whale's teleport.
Use Dragon Breath, then Wind Breath for the Dragon Fusion with the most (consistent) lines
Akechi Mitsuhide:
The stunlocks from Akechi's attacks are very frustrating. So use Spiral of Mana and Dragon Fusions to poke away at his HP.
The screen crack FMA can be eformed
Lotus:
Phase 1:
Able to teleport between the lasers easily
Phase 2:
Eform is technically a superstance and will prevent Lotus knockback
Phase 3:
The best time to burst is right after Lotus has finished casting "purple ball" because then that attack will be on cooldown.
Eform will block train debris and prevent Lotus knockback
Damien:
Phase 1:
Use Wind Flash or Earth Breath to hit Damien when he is in the air casting meteors
Eform can block about any attack, but does not prevent a curse stack
Phase 2:
Blue balls will penalize your damage when you are standing in their presence, therefore, make the best use of long-ranged Dragon Fusions and your Spiral of Mana to deal damage to Damien while you maneuver around the map avoiding the blue balls.
To prep burst, lure all the blue balls to the right side of the map. Once there, wait for Damien to re-spawn at the left side of the map before quickly teleporting over to bind him. You will want to get to a position on his right-side (see image) before casting Radiance facing left. When Radiance is liberated, move to the left-side of Damien to increase the odds that Damien will remain in Radiance's hitbox. If the blue balls start closing in on you, then you can up-jump and cast Dragon Master so that you are above the blue balls and not take the damage penalty.
Guardian Angel Slime:
As a 3min class, you should burst immediately on entry so that it is back up by the time first test passes.
Ideally, always be one platform above or below so that there are less dangers and most of your attacks will still land.
Or use Evan vertical teleport range to maneuver up and down the platforms to dodge attacks while tele-casting.
Before test starts, be sure to refresh Return - Flash debuff so that it will already be applied when Slime is vulnerable.
