Back-finned Pipefish

Cosmocampus retropinnis Dawson, 1982 or Back-fined pipefish (EN) has only been identified in the past by few specimens found in the eastern Atlantic Ocean. Little is known about its ecology and population dynamics and consequently it is classified as “Data Deficient” by the IUCN Red List.
