Spain

Six students from The Elementary School Brodarica who were accompanied by teachers Marijana Serajlić and Ana Perak, were on mobility in the city of Albacete (autonomous community of Castilla la Mancha) in Spain as part of the Erasmus + project K210 SCH Europe. Mobility was realized in the period from 23rd April until 27th April 2023.

The first day of our visit to Spain began with a reception in the Town Hall, where we were welcomed by the representatives of the city of Albacete and the principal of the host school. Then we went on a tour of the city to get ourselves familiar with the culture and traditions of this area. We were particularly impressed by the tour of the bullfighting arena.

For the purpose of getting to know the city as well as possible, a "Treasure Hunt" was designed for the students, during which they had to interact with the local population.

The students spent the afternoon playing. We visited the Youth Center and played the "Build Europe" game which was about knowing the political map of Europe, European countries and flags, and then we went to the Urban Planet entertainment center with trampolines.

2. day

The second day, the trip to Valencia was organized in that way that we visited the Oceanographic in the morning and enjoyed getting to know the animal life of the sea. The sea was also the theme of the afternoon because we enjoyed playing and swimming on the beach. Then we had a short tour of Valencia.

3. day

On the third day, we visited the host school. At the beginning, the students' athletic games were organized on the nearby stadium, then a tour of the school and a break with traditional churros with chocolate, and then a festive event at the end of a trip to Pulgosa Park and a picnic with our colleagues from the host school.

Time passed very quickly in joint activities, hanging out with peers, getting to know the culture and life of people in Spain. Students and teachers took with them unforgettable memories, and once again it was confirmed the great value of these projects for the growth and development of young students.
