This has to be one of the most frustrating tasks I've completed in this course. This game UI design is attrocious and malicious. As Brignull mentions, this is the perfect example of a game that has several dark patterns. For example it forces you to make mistakes by having to backtrack. A good UI would have clear labels and chekcboxes that you would have to check in. In this game, the wording is malicious and the checkboxes are already filled in and then it asks you to "choose 3 interests" meanwhile all the interests are already "chosen". Then I had to diselect interests and keep the 3 that interested me the most. I couldn't even complete the task properly because then this message would pop up that says "Hurry up, time is ticking!'. It is telling me to hurry up meanwhile it has fully locked me out of the game. I don't think I completed the game. I really wanted to, but I got locked out. The tricks in the first page and then this one are like, as Brignull mentioned, "trammel net used in fishing, which uses different layers to entangle prey in different ways."
