Innovative Learning Environments
We believe engagement starts from the second a student walks into the classroom. During our journey we have discovered that highly visual spaces that utilise all wall space, desk space and section of the room to provide Maker Spaces and different zones, while using the room to tell local stories are beneficial to inspire our akonga.
It is also extremely important that the room is also a platform to share learning frameworks and interact with staff, students, whanau and community - sharing learning journeys and celebrating student successes.
