At Erupt Education NZ we believe every school, teacher, student and learning community deserves the opportunity to follow in the footsteps of our voyaging ancestors by EXPLORING, DISCOVERING and INNOVATING.
Selecting rich Localised Contexts that embrace Matauranga Maori, together with using our State of the art Design Thinking Framework and ePortfolio tools, akonga will be able to set sail on amazing Learning Journeys themselves to explore and discover their immense inner potential.

To do this we will share our knowledge and inspire opportunities for educators and schools to provide exciting learning journeys and courses to motivate all akonga.
Engaging Students with Local Curriculum Design
Developing engaging courses and pathways with local contexts, using Real World Problems and Community Stakeholders to fully capture the attention and motivate students as the key element to FUN learning opportunities.
Explore - Using Design Thinking as a framework to deliver a Local Curriculum context and interweave Matauranga to create integrated journeys.
Discover - Through Knowledge Construction and Constructivism learning opportunities - following a Future Focused Skills Rubric to develop Stakeholder needs into Real World Problems.
Innovate - Provide a platform to produce a range of possible solutions and present these back in a Board Room situation to local community members and stakeholders whilst developing communication and literacy skills. Student learning journeys are all evidenced on an ePortfolio as an innovative communication tool to inform, share and present their learnings.
