The pandemic is moving in a wrong direction, i.e. it is surging. EPI > 1 since 8 March. ERI >1 since 29 March, which means the pandemic has moved into a danger/red/high-risk zone.

Since 17 February, the Risk Index/number ERI < 1. If R number/EPI will stay > 1, then the risk number will also go up.

R number/EPI < 1. The Risk number/ERI remains high but decreasing.

The pandemic moved into another wave without reaching a safe zone (where the Risk index ERI < 1).
