Original text: καὶ λυπηθήσεσθαι δὲ τὸν σοφόν, ὡς ὁ Διογένης ἐν τῇ πέμπτῃ τῶν Ἐπιλέκτων:
λυπηθήσεσθαι "to grieve about a thing" which makes sense in light of the sage being more susceptible to emotions but it not being a hindrance.
