Re-Engagement helps teachers and students see their mistakes. Students are learning to address mistakes and correct them
Teachers are seeing the importance of a lesson that works, or may not work. Re-Teaching often allows students to be re-enriched from the lesson while allowing others to have the opportunity to try again.
Giving students a second chance helps them to grow to understand mistakes and how to follow directions
Manipulative can guide students to learn and engage them to remain on task and focused. Creating lesson with hands on manipulative and displays creates a learning experience by doing. Allowing students to solve while learning a variety of strategies guides students to discover the best way for them to learn. Keeping manipulative on hand and available gives students the ability to use what works best for their individualized learning. Lessons should incorporate multiple learning strategies while demonstrating that students can solve problems independently.
