• Established in June 2014 - work started September 2014 with 32 Hubs, around time of current curriculum

• 40 Hubs across England

• Each hub is locally led by an outstanding school or college

• Network that exist to support all state schools in England

• 6 Maths Hubs in North West

• Work across all phases Early Years to Post 16

What is a Maths Hub?

Partnership / group to improve maths education in their specific geographical area

Support schools and teachers

Coordinated by NCETM

Lead improvement, experienced teachers and ex-teachers

Spread excellent practice, working towards common goals

Using trialled approaches to effectively teaching maths in schools
