Background:

I was depressed so I looked up sad on the photo website and this image popped up. My original idea was to make the chest area glow orange with hope and the background be blue showing her sad emotion. I found this photo and then made her pants and background more blue and her face have a glow from the light of the window by making her sweatshirt more red. This happened to be more simple than I thought so I want to add more elements but I don't know what. The purpose of this graphic is to spark conversation about mental illness. This can be posted in classrooms, magazines or anywhere else where it is needed.

Revision:

• Added words to express the dark feeling

• Used Elliptical Marquee tool for a focal point

• Blurred edge of the oval

• Lowered opacity of words so they are hard to see like our own inner thoughts

Design:

Contrast - Green and the red.

Repetition - repeated original colors

Alignment - aligned with the rule of thirds

Proximity - The girl is zoomed in
